Recently, the International Cooperation Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) received an invitation from CNN to participate in the “Call to Earth” initiative, which will be held for the first time on November 10, 2021.

In the invitation, CNN writes that humans are causing alarming changes to the planet. In general, we are destroying ecosystems, polluting our oceans and changing our climate. Change needs to happen at all levels of society, but as individuals, we can play a role in making things better in whatever way we can. On November 10, 2021, CNN will hold its first “Call to Earth” event, inviting schools, individuals and organizations around the world to collaborate on this day to instruct people in earth protection in their respective locations, in order to raise their awareness of environmental issues.

“Call to Earth” is a CNN initiative dedicated to environmental protection and sustainable development, and tells the incredible story of the planet and its guardians through its television, social media and other platforms and networks.

Before the event day comes, the International Cooperation Department of CBCGDF will have internal discussions and develop a program to fully present China’s voice and show the world the efforts made by all levels of society in China, including CBCGDF, in combating climate change, protecting biodiversity, and guarding the Earth, as well as the determination and ability to build an ecological civilization.
